This week, we will talk about another franchisee who has opened her Château de Sable shop 8 years ago.

Janice Atlay, franchisee in the UK, is an English woman who has lived in Singapore a few years ago. She is married to Steve and they got two kids: Isabel 15 years old and Isaac 12 years old. Her children have grown out of Château de Sable styles, much to her dismay.

Château de Sable Team: How did you discover Château de Sable?

Janice Atlay: I moved to Singapore in 2004 with my husband and daughter Isabel (2 at the time) and had my son Isaac in 2005. I discovered the beautiful brand firstly for my own children and then became the brand of choice for all my newborn gift buying which I used to send back home to the UK.

Château de Sable Team:  Why did you choose to distribute in your own country?

Janice Atlay: Whenever I travelled back to the UK and my children were wearing Château de Sable pieces, I was constantly complimented on how they were dressed, when friends received the gifts I sent always received such wonderful feedback as it was the stand out gift. It was the total package from the garment material, design, detail and thoughtful packaging.

Château de Sable Team:  What is you all-time favourite Château de Sable garment?

Janice Atlay: I am a big lover of babies in knits and Liberty print so when the two are paired together it's a dream piece. Love seeing babies dressed as little babies, they grow up too quickly and have years ahead to dress them in older styles.

Château de Sable Team:  Can you describe your role as a parent?

Janice Atlay: It's a difficult question! Perhaps my children would be best placed to answer this question. In summary would like to think I am firm but fair?!
